County court judgement mortgages the best CCJ mortgage

Finding a good mortgage can be quite tough if you have a CCJ in your credit history.

There are only a few lenders who would still be willing to give you an approval in such circumstances. If you contact a good broker, you can find such lenders offline as well as online.

Several lenders offer CCJ mortgages in areas like Devon, Fareham, Hertfordshire, Huddersfield, Wales, Wokingham, Ireland, Milton Keynes, Portsmouth, Southampton, Torquay, Wales, Warsash and Yorkshire. Many of them also offer a loan to value LTV of 80%, 85%, 90%, 95%, 100% and sometimes even 110% for some cases.

One of the easiest ways to arrange for a CCJ mortgage is by contacting a broker or a loan arranging company like Fancy Mortgages, Adverse Mortgage Centre and Fair Investment.

These companies can help you find guaranted mortgages. It would be a good way for you to finally have your own property if you currently use a rental property and pay rent.

These brokers can be a good source of advice on how to get a quote, give you more information on the best rate in the market, interest rates, online calculator to compare and find the cheapest fixed rate mortgage etc. However, you should know that your options would be limited and the few lenders that do offer these mortgages would offer them at a higher interest rate.

You can purchase properties like bedsit, holiday cottages, guest house, regulated tenant properties with the help of a CCJ mortgage.

When looking for a mortgage like this, you should try to find good subprime lenders that can offer flexible no credit check sub prime mortgages even if you have adverse, non status, bad credit or even if you are self cert. When you have short listed a good lender, you would only have to fill up an application form online and submit it and then wait for their response.

Does anyone know of any good brokers who can advise on how to get a mortgage if you have a bad credit score?

Before the recession, many lenders seemed to be lenient if you had a slightly dodgy credit history. Now, unfortunately, any sense of a bad credit score and they will run a mile.

You know how it is… A Bad credit history generally means you are perceived as a high risk and could default on repayments. I once used a very good mortgage broker in Torquay who helped me with my mortgage application . They don’t seem to exist any more.

Any ideas give me a reply. All the best Malclom.

This article is so out date. It would be next to impossible to get a county court judgement (CCJ) mortgage these days. I mean imagine-the economy has collapsed, lenders have been reigned in and even those who are prime lenders are struggling to get any type of loan or mortgage! That was three years ago at the nadir of the recession. How the hell is anyone with a CCJ going to be able to borrow money? It beggars belief.

Cheers
