Bad credit mobile phones with contract and no credit check

Usually when you get a CCJ or default notice put in your credit history, it stays there for 6 years.

This is enough for many financial institutions to consider you very un creditworthy.

Even in the space of a year, a persons personal circumstances can change a lot, and go from being in trouble with money to doing really quite well.

Historically, people with some bad credit history have been kept away from contract mobile phones and forced to buy a pay as you go mobile and buy top ups.

If you are a heavy user of the phone, this can work out very expensive.  On of the reasons that line rental can range from around £20 per month to over £100 a month is that the monthly rental subsidises the value of a very expensive handset.

Some of the uk mobile phone networks have now brought out “sim only” deals, which are contract deals with contract phone prices, but without a free handset.  This reduces the risk to the mobile network significantly as they are only exposed to the cost of call in the event that a customer defaults on the agreement and does not pay.

It is often discussed on forums and boards online that the 3 credit check and the t mobile credit check is particularly lenient.  This is essentially the option for someone with bad credit.  No credit check mobile contracts do not really exist as the company must do a credit check to protect them selves from fraud, and other legal requirements.
